Minimum of 10 years experience as a Medical Representative in the Primary or Secondary care arena at point of entry

New Hospital Representative (Secondary Care)
Up to 18 months in a dedicated Hospital role (secondary care) at point of entry

Experienced Hospital Representative (Secondary Care)
18 months to 10 years experience in a dedicated Hospital role (secondary care) from the point of entry

Healthcare Development / Account Manager *New for 2008*
Minimum of 1 year working with key decision makers relevant to the strategic success of your product in the NHS / Local Health Economy (LHE)

Ethical Leadership In Sales *New for 2008*
Every candidate entering Pf Awards is eligible to enter this very new category
Ethical selling within the precepts of the ABPI Code is a pre-requisite for success in any category within these awards. The organising committee of the Pf Awards however in conjunction with BroughtonWalker Medical propose to award a separate prize for the representative who demonstrates the most profound understanding of the ethical principles which guide the pharmaceutical selling process – the Ethical Leadership Award

This category is open to both field based and head office personnel
To have introduced a local initiative in conjunction with healthcare professionals that has directly impacted on patient care
Letter of endorsement from Healthcare Professional is required
Innovation Award
Third party evidence and endorsement is required that candidates’ innovation has delivered enhanced value to customer and company
IMS Business Simulation Award
The winner of this award will be based on results from the IMS Business Simulation that is carried out at the Assessment day
The categories eligible for this award are New Representative, Experienced Representative, Career Representative, New Hospital Representative and Experienced Hospital Representative
OnMedica Customer Recognition award *New for 2008*
The winner of this category will be based on the results from an online survey for Clinicians who access the OnMedica website. The survey will evaluate certain parameters of the UK Pharmaceutical companies:
- Personnel
- Marketing of products
- Materials used
- How effective staff are on delivery of requests
- Interpersonal skills
