• Candidates should have two years plus in a Primary Care role in the industry at the point of entry

New Hospital Representative - To recognise the top performing New Hospital Representative in the UK Pharma Industry
Entry Criteria:
• Candidates should have up to two years in a dedicated hospital role (Secondary Care) at the point of entry
• ABPI examination pass
Experienced Hospital Representative - To recognise the top performing Experienced Hospital Representative in the UK Pharma Industry

• Candidates should have two years plus in a dedicated hospital role (Secondary Care) at the point of entry

Clinical Nursing (new category for 2010) - To recognise the top performing Clinical Nurse in the UK Pharma Industry

• Active use of Nursing or Clinical qualification in role
• Performing a nursing role in the UK Pharmaceutical industry at the point of entry

IMS Business Simulation
Entry Criteria:
The winner of this award will be based on results from the IMS Business Simulation that is carried out at the assessment day

• Account team needs to demonstrate working to a clearly defined account plan
• Needs to have a clearly defined account management structure in place
• Working across multiple disciplines within the account
• Implementing a degree of autonomy to select / practice accounts and stakeholders
Examples of roles applicable for this category:
• All account roles as part of a well defined account team

Ethical Leadership in Sales Award - To recognise those representatives whose practical knowledge of pharmaceutical ethical principles makes them stand out from the crowd
Entry Criteria:
Any role within the UK Pharma industry is eligible to enter this category.
The assessment process will test:
• Appreciation of fundamental ethical principles
• Practical understanding of the Code of Practice
• Awareness of current and future ethical issues
• Ability to analyse alternative ethical perspectives
• Ability to sell effectively without compromising integrity
